FORMER Bay City Roller lead singer Les McKeown is due to appear in court tomorrow charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, police said today.
McKeown, 49, who was arrested on June 1, was remanded on bail and will appear at Harlow Magistrates Court in Essex, south east England.
The tartan-clad Bay City Rollers hailed from Edinburgh and were one of the biggest pop bands of the 1970s, with hits including Shang-A-Lang and Bye Bye Baby.
The band also found success in America and Japan before splitting in 1978.
McKeown was arrested as part of a wider police and customs operation in which four other men were also held on drugs charges across Britain.
One of the other men remains in custody while the other three have been remanded on bail.
