Street is best soap at TV awards
Coronation Street was named best soap at the joint TV Quick and TV Soap Awards - but saw rivals EastEnders and Emmerdale take home two awards apiece.
Emmerdale won best soap actress and best soap storyline, while EastEnders' Shane Richie and newcomer Lacey Turner landed acting honours.
Elsewhere Christopher Eccleston was named best actor for Doctor Who. Julie Walters won the best actress prize.
US hit Desperate Housewives won the award for best new drama.
The best-loved drama award went to ITV's Footballers' Wives.
The Antiques Roadshow, which began in 1979, picked up the best lifestyle show award, beating newer formats such as How Clean is Your House? and Location, Location, Location.
