THE 'POINTLESS' BECKHAMS
Victoria Beckham has been voted the nation's most pointless celebrity.

The former Spice Girl topped a poll of viewers who were left asking: "What is she for?"

In a further blow for the Beckham brand, husband David came second.

The survey was for Channel 4 show The Death of Celebrity, presented by former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan.

The programme wages war on celebrities who are famous despite having little or no talent.

Jordan is at number three, followed by Abi Titmuss.

Prime Minister Tony Blair comes in at number five.

Jade Goody is at number six, having forged a career and made millions from appearing on Big Brother.

At No 9, the top 10 list includes everyone who has ever appeared on the reality show.

The Royal Family are also deemed pointless celebrities, making it to number seven.

Glamour girl Jodie Marsh is at number eight, while David Beckham's former PA Rebecca Loos - now milking her fame after claiming to have bedded the England captain - brings up the rear at number 10.

I won't be watching this, because Piers seems to be the most fame-hungry person of the lot of them Hes now made "Tabloid Tales", andanother show for Channel4 going over the same subject matter as this one, yahoo

Yet I'd be interested in "number 9", how was this voted for, was it an option for the voters, or did they just accumalate all the votes for any ex-bb contestant other then Jade, and pool them! If so, why didn't he pool all "IACGMOH" contestants, all crao tv Presenters, June Sarpong and Vernon Kaye always do well in these things, wonder why C4 haven't included their own presenters there, all it-girls would be my choice

Or maybe all pratts of journalists trying to get reflected fame, from dissing people infinitly more liked then them!! Doubt any of the people on that list allowed faked-up pictures of British squaddies torturing POWs to go on the front of his national newspaper he was editing

surely the prime minister is far from being pointless and the fact he is there no doubt says more about those doing the voting.

Never liked Morgan and the Mirror under his editorship was despicable. That said, I've quite enjoyed his recent articles in GQ, especially his Shane Warne interview.

Piers Morgan is an odious creep but I have to admit i am looking forward to reading his memoirs now they're out in paperback.

I don't agree that David Beckham is pointless. And I'm gutted that some of my pals are considered more pointless than that Loos.e woman.

I have to say the beckham brand might be tasteless,crass and tacky...and I'd have em both no.1 on that poll....but I dont think either of the merited that.They made names for themselves in their erm careers..and Beckham has a genuine talent.Yep..hes over paid(cf a cricketer who has undoubtedly entertained one helluva lot more this year)..but I wouldnt say hes an unmerited tabloider.

She looked at him like he was sh*te tho! Quality!I tried to vid it but missed....hopefully will be on again

I thought Piers had a glint in his eye for Kate I just wish they had shown her stint at the EV
