Hewitt put in trance and claims: I slept with Diana MONTHS after she wed

JAMES Hewitt has claimed for the first time that he was sleeping with Princess Diana by 1982 - just months after her marriage to Prince Charles.
The former Army major made the startling confession while under hypnosis for a new TV documentary.
Hewitt, dubbed a "cad" for previously revealing details of their affair, has always said that the relationship did not start until after 1985.
But, under hypnosis, he told "past-life regressionist" Tony Rae that she first kissed him on the sofa at a friend's house "in 1981 or 1982".
And he claimed they slept together soon after. It was then that he realised he was "in love" with her.
Hewitt cried uncontrollably as he was quizzed about Diana during his hypnosis - which will be screened on Five this week.
Afterwards, he told interviewer Rob Butler that he had "always tried to protect" her family in previous claims about when their romance started.
Prince Harry, who turned 21 last week, was born in 1984. Hewitt said he did not want to "re-ignite any smouldering embers" over the question of whether he could be his father.
The Reality TV star snapped at Butler: "I don't want to talk about that. I think that's out of line."
While hypnotised, Hewitt said that he and Diana wanted to "settle down".
He added: "She thought she'd make a very good Army wife. It wasn't possible to do that. I think it was a dream."
Hewitt described how their relationship was troubled because Diana was often "lonely" and "sad". But he recalled some good times too.
He said: "She was happy when she was staying with me in Devon."
Under Rae's influence, Hewitt also revealed that he was threatened by the secret services - and claims he was told "it would be healthier for me not to see her".
