Is anyone watching this? They have taken a woman who cleans her house all day and most of the night, who won't let her kids in the living room unless they have just had a bath and are wearing clean clothes and who won't have visitors to the house because it is too clean and swapped her with a biker who doesn't clean much and has a long haired husband and kids. This seems really cruel. It seems to me that this obsessively clean woman needs medical help not to be ridiculed on TV. What do you think?

I agree Ellie....she was a very fragile thing..but it turned out to have a lovely ending.I actually cried at the end when she turned round and said "Sod the cleaning".....Think the whole family were very brave to allow their clearly dysfunctional household to be on film.

O posted that at the beginning of the program pikey and changed my view by the end. I thought they were very brave and applauded the changes they were prepared to make. I also think they took the criticism very well. The husband (not the biker one) disturbed me a bit. I thought he was quite controlling and his reaction to his 16 year old son, ringing to say he would be late was extremely over the top. How could he threaten to ground him for not coming home for dinner when he should have been pleased that his son had gone out in the first place and his son at least was telling him he would be late. I cried too at the end. It was very refreshing to see such a positive ending (even though I think the marriage may break down).

I think it will.I thought he was overbearing and that she was almost frightened of him.She realised thay what was lacking in her life was affection and respect and she got more of that from the biking community than from her own family. She was so distressed at the thought of returning home.In the aftermath show,Cheryl's husband did say he felt liberated by the less rigid atmosphere but that she wasnt sure the new independent Cheryl was what he would want.
I thought they were so brave to go under the microscope like that..it was one of the best episodes of the show I've seen.I really wanted to cheer for her in the end
