BB FANS

Apologies if there is already a thread on this. I went to see it tonight and wondered if anyone else has been to see it. There were some bits of it which I thought they did better than the BBC TV series but generally I thought it wasn't as good. Some of this may have been because they had to condense the book into a two hour movie, but I thought all the main characters were miscast. Colin Firth will always be Darcy for me.

I particularly loved Mr Collins and that sort of half bow, half crouch thing he did at Rosings

I liked him and thought he was quite funny but I have to say I preferred the other Mr Collins who was suitably unctuous. I recognised the girl who married him (forgotten her name now) but couldn't think where I had seen her before. I didn't recognise the actresses name just her face. Do you know what she has been in Milly?

No but I know exactly what you mean - she looked v familiar to me too
