Does anyone else remember this soap that was on early nineties? I really loved it It was half in England and half in Australia and it was mainly about a family in Cheshire... Jude Law was in it as a young bloke

I wish they would repeat it on cable, how sad am I?

Oh GOD!!Yes.It was on when I was home on maternity leave..and I absolutely loved it

I would love to see this again, one of the best daytime soaps ever, I used to tape it and watch it when I got in, and if I went away on hols, get someone to tape it for me, now that really IS sad Jude Law was nothing special in that, hardly noticed him. Still one of Kay Mellors best creations "Families" imo. The character who I seem to remember is Chelsea,really annoying she was

Oh yes Chelsea! I loved all the intrigue and the stories were fab, it used to be repeated as an omnibus on Thursday nights quite late so I used to watch it then... was gutted when they took it off air

I loved Eldorado too (I used to have a crush on Jesse Birdsall!)

Chelsea..the one with the dark bob....Did she have the ponies?

She worked in the stables because she was from the 'poorer' family in the village, not the family in the 'big house' - if you know what I mean

Ohhh my gran used to always watch 'High Road'! That must have been a few years ago it stopped now.
