The winners of the show -- now celebrating its 35th anniversary and broadcast live on RTE -- are chosen by the public, and this year's categories include the International Person of the Year and the Young Person of the Year.

Among those who on the guest list are Claire Byrne, Ray Shah, Diarmaid Gavin, Anna Nolan, Michael Lyster, Maclean Burke, Peter Kelly, Lisa Murphy and Ray Foley.
