The original idea was for John to play Dan's part and Dan to play John's part but I think it was their idea to swap. Everyone seems to put the fact that the film turned out to be crap down to having a director who didn't get comedy. Just look at Spielberg with 1941. (Funnily enough, Dan and John are in that as well )

She's had my mate's brother, his brother's best friend (while his pregnant girlfriend was in the house), his brother's best friend's dad and his uncle. She hasn't had my mate because he's gay, but I bet she's tried it.

Anyway, I'm sure Dan is a good boy. Except for going to strip joints, being involved with Heidi Fleiss, the rumours about him cheating... yeah, really well behaved!

On E! channel in America they showed the 101 Most Unforgettable SNL Moments. I sent them a begging email for them to show it here because it seems to involve a suitable amount of Dan.

They've showed 101: Shocking Moments, Hook-Ups, Biggest Oops, Makeovers and I think they've started showing Best Kept Hollywood Secrets so it's likely it will be shown here. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I also begged them to show the John Belushi E! True Hollywood Story again (apparently there's a Gilda Radner one as well). And the TV Tales episode about SNL.

Poor you. I dunno if they'll even show the SNL thing. They should do, they showed the Phil Hartman True Hollywood Story and norms over here wouldn't really know him.

Saturday night live, wasn't big over here, even if the stars of the show were!

as an old git, i can assure you SNL was not shown here, there was only 3 channels at the time!!! they showed repeats years later, but the vitallity of the show had gone by then!!

the only reason mr belushi was recognised at the time, was the films, see poor andy kaufmans lack of regard in this country

phils death was reported in this country, but imagine the histeria if he'd been part of a succesful british show?

Shame we don't get to see Dan when he was young. A lot mroe people would fancy him.
