Really? My dad has about 4 different models now. The first one he had was quite bulky. I have the 20gb one which I have had for about a year and a half. I wouldn't want to sell it ever. It's inscribed as well so no one would want it!

I may look into getting one, in time for my holiday so I don't end up taking thousands of CD's

I just ordered a 20gb one.... :oops: AGH! figured, since I'm going away it means I can take all my music with me without having to carry loads of cds...see there is some logic there! ::lol:: Plus, it's my birthday in a few weeks so I'm treating myself! :D ;)

oooh! Good on ya. We just got one a few months ago. :D Don't really get a chance to watch it though!

Was kinda indifferent projector tellies until I actually saw one. My friend has a sony projector in his flat and it is so cool! It's like being at the cinema! ::lol:: Would definately reccommend them! :D Only thing is you really need to watch it with the lights down. in which case, the plasma ones are really good. Would say you should get them both Cameron! ::lol::

we have data projectors at school, are they similar? If so I like them, they look like it was actually on the big screen like it was plugged in and give a really good picture.

I don't think I know anyone with a plasma TV, I shall have to ask my friends.

Do you mean like watching tv on a over head projector? The paster at I church I help at has one in his house he's not bad, it it's like being in the cinema but I would rather watch tv from a tv rather than on the wall.

I would love a plasma flat screen, but I can't afford one so will just go for a 28inch or dare I say 32inch ::lol:: a friend told me about a tv shop that gets tv's that may have a tiny scratch on it or doesn't have the right box, something really silly like that, but obviously it's cheaper, so I will see what they have and what deals there are, if not I'll go back to good old John Lewis! ()^

well if its like the things we have at school they're nowhere near as big as the OHPs. Plus if you connect these things to the computer it just projects the thing up onto the wall, you don't need those bits of see through paper with text on them.

Plasmas are cool and getting cheaper by the week, but they do need regassing after a while (prolly years)

Great for movies tho! my parents have one and it really is like being at the cinema.
