Yep, I know that, Jezi. We have statistical data about our cities and towns over here as well now and then. :D

Chester is not a dump!!!! It is a beautiful old city with some lovely architecture!!!!

Chester is slightly tinged with the ole Hollyoaks brush (and it ain't even filmed there). It's not as great a place as people make out. believe me, I spend a lot of time in and around Chester. The cathedral is gross, for a start, and right next to a 1960s shopping centre.

As for Bourton on the Water, grimfandango, it's a nice place on the surface, but full of right-wing retired colonels, and horrendous in summer. There are much better places in the Cotswolds if you know where to find them. Thankfully, most of them are local secrets so won't mention them here but feel free to PM me!

Morrissey, spot on with that list. If I did a top ten worst places visited on football trips:

10. Bath!
9. Nuneaton
8. Redditch
7. Stevenage
6. Dagenham
5. Cinderford
4. Church Gresley (Swadlincote)
3. Newport
2. Bishop Auckland
1. Merthyr Tydfil

it is compared to where Milly lives! ::lol::

Just jokin' hun ;)

btw, there is a misconception that everyone wants to live in the south east because it's so wonderful. But then you have places like Slough, Reading, Luton, Harlow, Basildon, Hounslow, Watford, Dartford, Margate, Ashford... all these places are holes, but even worse, they're expensive holes.
