well I think Peter Kay is a bit of a god-like genius. maybe it's a northern thing that everyone up here loves him.

he was ace in Corrie, but it was all round very good comedy value, the Kirkeh / Fiz / Tyrone love triangle is hysterical. you cannot beat Corrie for comedy factor, no other soap comes close (except Sunset Beach which was always unintentionally hilarious).

....he's a comedy genius, and the best of his generation, whatever part
of the country you happen to be from.


...haven't yet seen the new John Smith's advert, yet, with Peter Kay and
Englebert Humperdink, but it's apparently
a scream.

I don't really watch corrie but my mum does and when Kirk (is it?)was singing the eminem song for fizz and she was like it's our song I have never laughed so much in my life!!!!

it was a classic Coronation St. moment....
full of humour, warmth and quality acting.

...though, i suspect the writer, of that scene, had been studying
Jerry St. Clair, on Phoenix Nights, singing the same song.

I laughed too Jezi
