Me and my friend stayed up til all hours on that site one night, downloading all the wavs. Remember PMSL@ Lazy Lion from Words and Pictures and the theme tune to The Sunday Gang.

and here's another site for TV anaoraks - TV Ark - but there is a section on Children's TV. And click on the 'Schools TV' link. Remember those white dots that used to disappear - technology, eh? <sigh>Those were the days </sigh>

did anyone catch Animation Nation on BBC4 last night - how fascinating! They went behind the scenes of classic such as The Clangers, Bagpuss, Ivor the Engine, The Magic Roundabout (which was originally a French show), and Trumpton. The message that seemed to come out repeatedly was how today's children's shows don't allow children to develop their imaginations or lose themselves in a fantasy world, which as a kid is one of the best things about being a kid.

it's what you do with your cook that counts

sometimes big cooks think they don't have to make any effort with the dinner because they are big and that's enough but it isn't :D

some cooks don't even bother with a starter - they prefer to go straight to the main course followed by a warm dessert
