Band of brothers had me captivated, am not normally into war stories but I think it was better than saving private ryan, you could feel the raw fear in the battle scenes, and the despondancy they felt when things went badly wrong as they often did.

Highly recommended even at £60 ()^

The story of Easy Company and the men of the 101st,
is fascinating.
Read the book, written by Stephen E.Ambrose, to gain further insights
into the men, their backgrounds, and their memories and thoughts.
There are also 1 or 2 websites, dedicated to preserving the achievements of these brave people, which i'd recommend. ()^
Ambrose's books :- "D-day", the British liberation of "Pegasus Bridge",
and "Citizen Soldiers", come highly recommended, too. ()^
