So the answer to your questions would be a no, I do not know them as such. Really interesting workings though in a lighthouse. Can understand your interest in them.

Yes it was my friends Dad who was the lighthouse keeper. My friend lived in the lighthouse house! :D

He used to be a lighthouse keeper in Orkney before moving to Aberdeen.

Sadly he has passed away now.

Presuming you mean Orkney? I have no idea. The Aberdeen one was Girdleness Lighthouse, just down the road from me.:D

I think I remember telling you his name but I will pm you it again in case you have forgotten. ()^

If you are really keen on lighthouses there is actually a museum in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire that you can visit. Here is the link: http://www.lighthousemuseum.co.uk/ Thought this might interest you.
