Sorry but I think the Darkness are the most overrated outfit ever! not for me! :zzz:

there again, i don't find their music
offensive (as i do, Dido)
...good luck to them, all the same ()^

Have to say though, that i'm finding their ongoing spat,
with Michael Eavis, a bit childish and unnecessary,
and it's not going to do them , any good. :-?

I agree.I got my old Ac/Dc albums out to educate my daughter and her pals who think Darkness are great!!! ::lol:: ::lol::

Depends how you take the Darkness...as a novelty rock act they're great but as a serious act they're not.

It's spinal tap for the noughties! :D

Problem I have with them is that they believe their own hype, they think they are better than everyone else which irritates me, this spat Justin is having with Noel Gallagher, Noel would knock him into next week given half the chance which I would love to see ::lol::

why should 'novelty rock acts' win Best Group and Best British Album accolades then? ${ undermines everything the British Music Industry stands for in my opinion, makes a mockery of credible artists & previous deserved winners of said awards

anyway enough from me :D

.....it's never been suggested, by themselves, that they
"believe their own hype" ${ ....(i assume then, that that's your own personal opinion, rather than a generalisation, way-off-the-mark, soundbite)

..the "brits" award record sales, not creativity or credibility.
- never have, never will. :roll:

that's why, the likes of Dido, Duran Duran, Justin Timberlake
and Annie Lennox, consistently get
nominated and win. :-?

She may be overrated but I don't know what's so offensive about her!

I like about 2 of her songs from about 3 years ago but all this stuff now is just the same and really depressing. To me anyway.

Dont find her offensive just a bit bland!Is just the way the Cd was touted as the greatest thing and was a serious let down,that's all!!!!!!! :D
