Just don't think she deserves any of those kinds of accolades.Lots of other talented females out there who dont get the recognition because they don't get her exposure. The forst album was fine..but 'life for rents' is just musical wallpaper imo.Much rather see the like of Amy Winehouse or Joss Stone getting some silverware.

how much does Dido getting the Brit Awards rely on the fact that she's sold shedloads and shedloads of albums?

might be musical wallpaper but people seem to like it

some of her lyrics are really dull...but the albums are very relaxing and good to work on the computer to. (they just noodle along while I try to think)

Amy Winehouse now you're talking..lovely Jazz voice. she should go far as she can easily crossover with the urban flavas types.

Bling Bling :D

EAVIS 'MISSED THE BOAT'

and to extract a particular quote from the interview: -

" “Of course we asked for a lot — we’re the best band around."

...you obviously, don't share, the same sense of irony and humour,
as Mr Hawkins.

..how much??...well - about 90% much - the other 10% ,being persistant lobbying by her record company.

...fine- if you like her.
not for me though  ...i prefer my musicians, to have charisma,
creativity and integrity. ()^

Listening to Dido, feels like the equivalent, of a sunday morning
visit to Ikea. :-(

Never bought anything that needs assembling from Ikea, but the marketplace downstairs was always full of little gems to buy, at least in the Croydon branch it was.

As for Dido, she's ok.. just another middle of the road singer songwriter, I can take her or leave her.

You'll need to be very cunning, the Glasto fence is like something from a high security prison these days.
