Well I have to say that I got pregnant while on the pill so I have to disagree with you.
Agree with you Lou. I truly believe that, when we ourselves are perfect ONLY then can we point the finger at others!! In fairness to Suzanne though, I think she also makes a valid point, and I do not believe Suzanne to be the type of person who'd be critical and judgemental, and comes across as VERY accepting of other's whatever the situation. But I would also like to point out......very many of the forum members are caring people too, and of course I include yourself in that too.
I agree with LS, I have sat for hours with women who have had an abortion. Whether that was for medical, financial or personal reasons. The pain, hurt and more importantly 'Guilt' that they express is overwhelming. When you hear of the turmoil they have gone through, finger pointing of any description is totally out of the question. Love and openess is the only way they manage to come through a very difficult situation. Have to also mention however, is that a question many of them have asked of 'themselves' is why did they allow themselves to get in such a situation in the first place.
CC......I think (also) made a VERY, VERY valid point and one that IMO takes presidence over all her other comments, and that was with her opening sentence. If contraceptive is not fully effective against preventing pregnancy, then what is???
