Barbarians This series aims to show Barbarianism was a broad church whose parishioners were skilled craftsmen and merchants, their horizon-broadening adventures inspired by explorational zeal rather then inherent bloodthirstiness.
The first part focuses on the Vikings. Following them from their early triumphs in the middle East through to the death of King Harald Hardrada......thanks to a certain King Harold at the battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.
