I'd just like to point out that I went to see Chitty YEARS ago - it was a charity preview performance attended by the likes of Roger Moore, Cliff Richard etc {@} {@} {@}

I thought it was absolutely FANTASTIC and nearly fell off my seat when the car started flying - there we were, singing our wee hearts oot..

'oh you pretty chitty bang-bang, chitty chitty bang-bang we love you'

la - la - la

and I happen to have a soft spot for Michael Ball aka Caractacus Potts at that time after seeing him as Marius in Les Mis in 1993.............. ;)

Cameron, the only reason I can think of for my dislike of musicals is.
I was a very shy child, when we had a party, or attented a wedding and the adults had a sing song, I would get very upset and actually start to cry if my Mom or Dad sang.
They were not bad singers......... ::lol:: ::lol::
I think I just didn't like the attention brought on them when they sang and would hide under the table untill they finished their song. :oops: :oops:
