I wanted him to win so badly and even Simon Cowell syays the wrong person won. Plus his record company are promoting him more than Will 8)

Just a useless piece of information here, but you may be interested to know, that Gareth Gates' fans at a Sheffield concert screamed their way into the record books, by reaching 130 decibels when he was performing at the Sheffield Arena's Pop Idol concert, which makes them the loudest recorded fans in the history of pop. To imagine how loud this was, it is almost as loud as standing 40 feet away from a supersonic jet!

Will Young's fans reached 120 decibels, which is eight decibels less than the noise made by fans of Hear'Say last September and both Will's and Gareth's fans topped the decibel-readings for former chart idols Take That, Boyzone and Bros.

Gareth commented that the sound almost bent his spikes back!

I did see that, after admiring Helen and Paul.

It is a lovely piece and his old teachers are so proud of him. So much has been made of his looks, or the stutter that it's refreshing to hear people talk about all his musical achievements.

I think Will is very talented, but it's unfair that people rave about his ability to make a song his own, when they ignore the fact Gareth plays several instruments and achieved excellent marks in exams etc.
