Strictly Come Dancing winner Jill Halfpenny will take the lead role in hit London musical Chicago.
The ex-EastEnder follows in the footsteps of Jennifer Ellison and Claire Sweeney to play the part of Roxy Hart.
Jill, 29, clinched the ballroom dancing crown on Saturday night in front of 11.2m viewers - and immediately impressed Chicago show bosses.
"I'm starting in January," beamed Hill. "I love singing and dancing and this is a real dream for me."
The sexy brunette, who played police officer-turned-nail bar owner Kate Mitchell in the soap, will replace Ellison, who bowed out of the role last week.
Jill beat athlete Denise Lewis and camp comedian Julian Clary in Saturday's final.
