Just when you thought they couldn't possibly find another topic Channel 4 are about to air a show featuring the 100 Greatest Cars. You can still vote for your favourites at the 100 Greatest cars webpage.

What would you vote for?

my first car - a red Orion called Brian.

he sadly got written off when someone crashed into him outside my house *sounding familiar to anyone?*

my ideal car would be an Audi A3 - preferably purple

OI peeps, this is about what is the best car not your first car! :-? :D

My top 5 would be:
Aston Martin DB9 - proof that us Brits can make fantastic cars with performance to die for. Who needs a Porsche or Ferrari?
Jag E-type - classic beauty
McLaren F1 - pure speed
Golf GTi (Mark 1) - those round headlamps!
Dodge Viper - sex on wheels (actually, just read the C4 review which describes it as 'Viagra on Wheels ::lol:: )

alright, I give up. My first car was a burgundy Vauxhall Cavalier, as seen on most council estates in Britain.

or worse, a pedestrian... :D

<soapbox>There are many potentially 'yawn-ish' threads on the forum, but what makes BBFans great is that even the most apparently boring subjects can be made interesting (ish :D ). I mean, who would've thought we'd be discussing bags? ::lol:: If I don't want to add anything because I don't find the subject interesting then I wouldn't bother adding anything at all :-? . There are plenty of people who like cars. Thanks.</soapbox>

well in my rubbishy opinion when someone makes a topic it means something to them so therefore it shouldn't be slagged off because it is something they want to discuss. cars aren't what I am most into and when there are other threads that really don't interest i just keep out and people that are interested can discuss it in there. My favourite thread is still the pub though because I can't go off topic
