In a unique new series for BBC ONE and BBC THREE, Davina McCall presents He's Having a Baby – following eight men on their very different journeys to becoming first time dads, all struggling to cope with the dramatic, funny and difficult changes parenthood brings.

Over ten weeks from late August, He's Having a Baby captures the lives of these men, chosen from all over the UK, into the delivery room and beyond, as they prepare to take on perhaps the greatest challenge that life presents – the birth of their first child, providing a unique insight into the pressures faced by modern British fathers.

Each Saturday evening on BBC ONE, Davina McCall will catch up with our eight men live in the studio to bring us their unique and compelling stories.

Throughout the week, a nightly BBC THREE programme will capture their daily lives where we'll see how they are coping with the ever-changing emotions and demands of becoming a parent for the first time. Are they going into fatherhood with their eyes wide open – or are they better suited to sitting in the pub talking about football than talking about their feelings?

This have to be something different than the film "Three men and a Baby" (1987) I wonder how much Davina is getting paid for this program, because she made well enough with BB

But anyway - becoming a parent will change everyones life!

thanks Jezi, yep 18 weeks and all is well...will know it's sex in few weeks time. If I had been further on I would of gone in for taking part in this show, should be interesting to say the least

Not (well, am actually) being pedantic, but this unintentional humour at the hands of the rogue apostrophe tickles me no end!

Looks like the confirmation in a few weeks' time will indicate that the baby is a result of sex, as opposed to something else.

Of course maybe it is something else and I'll have put my big fat foot in it ROFL.

Congratulations Lou6274! But does the knowledge of the unborn child's sex really matter? I have always wanted to know that everything is fine and the baby is healthy.

I know children that are results of test-tubes and children that have been adopted or living with their foster parents - so there's many other ways to become a parent and to have a baby
