Storyville
BBC4, Monday 22 February 10:00pm - 11:30pm When his lifelong friend Andrew Bagby was shot dead by an ex-girlfriend, film-maker Kurt Kuenne set out to make a tribute film. At first, this is a celluloid scrapbook, made during visits to Bagby's friends and family, but it soon becomes a letter to the dead man's son. The result is certainly the most intimate and one of the more unsettling true-crime films ever made. Everything about it is personal, yet a chilling story unfolds as the killer tries to evade justice. It all builds to a tragic climax which doesn't easily fade.
