Britain's white-van men are recession heroes, bringing in £35 billion a year. But this isn't a dry documentary about the economic downturn and recovery. It's a quirky, engaging film about three businesses, each with a milky white transit and an idiosyncratic bloke (or two) at its heart. Welder Jim Brown has just received his oddest commission: an order for a human cage that will eventually hang in a sex dungeon. Jim may be a bruiser on the outside but he also likes big words and quoting Pythagoras. The Buff Builders of Brighton are similarly uninhibited. They fix up houses, minus their shirts. Finally, there's Chris, who runs what appears to be a doomed mobile cleaning business. Thankfully he has the sense to keep his clothes on.
