Repeat: Sky Arts 1 - Sat 12 May 10:30pm This Israeli drama served as the inspiration for the US hit Homeland, but is a very different beast. The pacing is slower and the production values not as impressive, while the levels of suspicion are only just starting to be revealed by the end of its opening hour.
But the main difference is in the set-up: instead of just one soldier released from captivity, we’re following the stories of two men who make it back from a PoW camp in Lebanon. Already we can see how difficult it’s proving for the pair to readjust following a devastating 17 years away, with some added complexity in one family dynamic giving us an inkling of future fallouts and tension.
