Mini: A Life Revisited
BBC Four: Tue 29th Oct 10pm - 11pm Documentary first aired in 1975 about Michael `Mini' Cooper, an 11-year-old serial arsonist, who torched a church and set his family home alight while his father slept upstairs. The film follows Cooper over a three-week period as social workers and psychiatrists quiz the tearaway in a young offenders home in Co Durham to determine his future, and Alan Yentob interviews both director Franc Roddam and the troubled young man at the heart of his documentary.
