Outrage as BBC excludes lowly Lib Dems from tonight's flagship Question Time debate

Tonight's edition of the flagship panel show features representatives from the Conservatives, Labour and Ukip, as well as broadcaster Piers Morgan and footballer Joey Barton.

This afternoon the Liberal Democrat press office aired its frustration at a lack of representative on the show, tweeting: "@bbcquestiontime have refused to take a Liberal Democrat panellist tonight."
