This series meets the surveillance operators who keep an eye on the nation's public spaces and - in some cases - private homes. The first edition explores day-to-day life in a high-rise, meeting the residents of council-owned tower blocks in Southampton and those whose job is to observe their every movement in communal areas. The tenants may benefit from increased security, but do they feel their privacy has been sacrificed?
