Repeat:5* Tomorrow 10pm Series three of the post-apocalyptic thriller finally arrives on Channel 5, after being shown on digital channel FX last autumn. Across the Atlantic it’s the most popular show on cable TV, reeling in ten million viewers, and like so many recent US series it stars a British actor: Andrew Lincoln plays a sheriff-turned-zombie-hunter. Later this series he’s joined by another Brit – David Morrissey.
In this first episode, the sheriff and his fellow survivors stumble upon a prison and set about making it their new home. Unfortunately its shuffling, salivating inmates are less than welcoming. As always, this is not one for the faint-hearted.
1/16. The post-apocalyptic drama returns. Having left the relative safety of Hershel's farm, the survivors find their nomadic existence wearing them down. Rick and Daryl's discovery of a prison seems to provide a good opportunity to establish a new base camp, but the compound is not uninhabited. Starring Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus.
