Can anyone tell me which is the best sites to go to for music downloads please.
Now I have my cd rewriter guess I should use it.

I don't mind having to subscribe but would rather not have the police knocking at my door (unless it Sting and his mates :D )

I'd say KaZaA Lite, as it is KaZaA, but without SPyware!

Spyware can be used so that if the copmany ever got sued of anything then they can use details of what youve downloaded and get you in trouble too! Without the Spyware you're much less likely to get into any problems (Although even with the normal KaZaA theres barely any chance of getting caught)

If thats pu you off KaZaA then Try WinMX

Um iMesh is a good one which you can download anything from music to films and theres no advertisements, but the illegal thing does come into it. I could get LOTR The 2 towers 3 months ago off there ::lol:: ::lol::

I use mainly WinMX, can leave that running in the background. Occasionally IMesh, but try to do anything else and the PC crashes. Have Morpheus still installed, hardly anyone on it though. Also visit websites - although they are not always up to date. Depends what I'm looking for.

I'm a DJ and have over 19,000 tracks in my CD collection, only a minority of which are from sources other than 'bought' as I can't afford the hefty fine (and confiscation of my collection) if I were to be seen using copies that I can't justify. Having said that, I've transferred just about all my old vinyl collection to CD or MD now.

I use Easy CD Creator Platinum 5 for making CD's and/or ripping/tidying-up. Also been very useful to make video discs for venues with TV or big screens, can show my own promotion stuff off!

I've tried that...it's supposed to be really good for finding stuff you can't find elsewhere, but it's a bit confusing :-?
