The Head of House played the midweek task alone. It was a game of roulette, in the diary room. The housemates had £51 shopping budget, Ray could bet all, part or none of this on a spin of the wheel. Only individual numbers or a choice of colours were allowed, no other bets could be made.
Ray could have won a maximum of £300, depending how he played the game.
He bet £20 on red, £10 each on 16, 21 and 29 and £1 on black - the ball landed on Black 8 - giving the HM's a shopping budget of a massive £2 !
