The rich housemates have devised a makeshift game of draughts to stave off boredom.

They created their own board on a table using tape, with pebbles as pieces.

PJ seemed particularly excited as he challenged Alex.

"Let the games commence," he cried as the poor housemates looked on from the other side of the bars.

"No-one beats me. Take heed, Alex," said PJ.

He also pretended to be the chess master Kasparov.

Tim described the clash as "the young cavalier versus the wise old tactician".
