Perhaps the money does not mean so much to some - but even they benefit from an increase in profile which certainly helps when looking towards their future career paths.

I totally agree!! It definitly helps, I'm sure a lot of the ex BB HMs use their names to get a job even if they don't do it purposely!

Kimbccx - in some cases I'm sure it would help, but there are cases where ex-hm's can't get a particular job because they were on the show. Again, we're well warned of this before the final selection takes place, so we should all be aware of the potential downsides.

And that is true Cam!! I see exactly what you mean!! Can you see Jade ever getting a job as a taxi driver!! Haha!! Thats not bieng nasty to her I love her to bits but it's the best example I can think of! And there's also the fact that imagine you go for a job but the man/woman who decides whether you get that job watched BB and hated you - pre judgements!

It's all about judgments and not giving people a chance as far as I can see. Often it's that way, at least.

Definitly!! But like you say you are all briefed about it before you go in and suppose those are the consequences that people will judge you! In some cases it's a shame because the editors do not show the HMs for who they really are!

I can't really comment because as yet I've not managed to watch much of the footage. What I can say though, is that I'm still insensed when I hear about Scott being "quiet" or "boring". He was hilarious to live with - very quick-witted and a fantastic housemate. Ray and Jon are both on tape saying the same thing.

That's exactly my point! You have to be really individual to become an unforgettable BB HM. Take BB4 you lot were all really intersting, infact I enjoyed watching you all, but because there weren't many fights, kisses, dumb blondes or nudity you were all labelled as boring which wasn't fair cos I could watch Tickle all day!!

IMO it's a two way street...the media get what they want and the housemates choose whether to accept it or not...no one forces them to sell their stories..look at Sandy.

How many times has someone said I wouldn't want to be rich and have too much money and meant it..but if they money was offered wouldn't we all take it?
People may start something with one intention and who are we to question that...but how easy is it to be swept away on a tide of Euphoria.

We all do thing, we all change our minds ..we grow and experiment with different experience that life throws at us.

Lets not judge unless we have had the same experiences.

Question CC: Do your points come as a reply to my post or are they just your thoughts in general? (Unsure of whether to comment on them that's all).

I saw that Scott wasn't boring or quiet Cameron don't you worry. ;) I can see why you are insensed by what people say about him, I am too. I don't get why people say it and I don't even know Scott as you do. :-? I simply saw for myself from the 9 weeks I watched that he was quick-witted and he seemed to be a fantastic housemate. Yes, I liked him, he was my favourite.

I preferred all of you lads last year to the girls to be honest which is unusual for me because I have usually supported the girls in past BB's. Don't get me wrong the girls were nice enough I just preferred watching you lads.

No. I'm not afraid to say it, I'm sick of the criticisms of last year's lot. BB4 was my second favourite BB to date second only to BB2, I loved it.

Thanks a lot Vic, especially for noticing the good bits about Scott! And I'm delighted that there are people in the "real world" who noticed what a great housemate he was.
