Big Brother host Davina McCall is "in talks" over jumping ship to the BBC, the Daily Star reports today.
The presenter is apparently being lined up for a new Saturday night show under a "golden handcuffs" contract which would see her leaving the popular reality series this summer.
"Davina has met some very influential people at the BBC in the last few weeks," a source told the newspaper. "Everyone likes Davina, from teenagers to grandparents and mums and dads. She's great fun and is one of the best presenters on the box.
"Now they just need to find the right format for her talents. Davina has got a bit of time off now and we hope she is seriously considering the prospect of a switch even though she loves working on Big Brother and has become synonymous with the programme."
McCall, 36, has previously said that she would "never" relinquish her Big Brother hosting duties.
