If I was an End'em'all executive, I would be worried...

In fact, I'd love to be involved in choosing housemates etc, but how can they guarantee that the next series will be successful?

It seems to me that every show (even TOTP) eventually loses it's gloss (E.R. is still excellent, with fantastic editing, but if it wereto run for many more years, even E.R. would become 'old hat'). BB is such a major event each year - and is always compared to previous series.
BB5 was certainly a headline-grabber, but for this old BB fan began to lose interest for a while. If BB6 is 'quieter' than BB5, many people will say it's boring, but if it's even more 'outrageous' than BB6, then it will just be in the same mode as Eurotrash or something.

The challenge now is to come up with something different, but something that the average viewer would still consider worth watching.
