Big Brother Housemates worm their way into a video game
Who's the biggest worm in the Big Brother household? The British public will soon know the answer! And whoever worms their way through this week's eviction by having the best gameplan in the Big Brother house could soon find they're starring in a video game for real!
Codemasters, one the UK's leading video game publishers, has revealed the first designs of the virtual alter-egos of the Big Brother housemates who could be transformed into worms for a special add-on to the video game Worms 4: Mayhem, out today for games consoles.
An artist on the game, who is a huge fan of the show, submitted designs of Makosi, Kemal, Derek, Orlaith, Anthony and Craig as worms, each with their trademark looks and personalities. Now, the contestants in this year's Big Brother have been performing so well that the best manipulators in the house are being considered to star as worms in an add-on into for the hotly tipped hit game
Players could soon be watching Kemal fight his nemesis/friend Maoksi or Orlaith taking revenge on Derek! Would Craigy worm fair any better with his affectionate approaches to the ever-squirming Anthony? And, away from the eviction competition, how would Kemal stack up in his heels against busty Orlaith as a star in Worms 4: Mayhem?
Codemasters has specifically chosen to leave Eugene out of game and decided to concentrate on the housemates who have demonstrated that they can worm themselves out of the trickiest situations!
Rich Eddy, spokesperson for Codemasters states, 'I'm a Big Brother addict and the gaming strategy and comedy in Worms 4: Mayhem has great synergy with how the housemates are playing off each other in the Big Brother house. We have been so impressed with the manipulative skills of certain housemates that we'd love to have them in a special add-on for the game. Big Brother, like Worms, has established a huge cult following, and it'd be great to see if the housemates could fare better as video game worms!"
