Davina McCall herself does not relax at home by participating in the booze fuelled antics so essential to any stint in the Big Brother house.
Instead the TV presenter says no to all drinks in case she finds herself tempted back into a narcotic embrace.
That's right, the squeaky clean presenter, who clearly delights in the lairy antics of the housemates, is unwilling to lose control in case she slips back into her bad old ways.
In her twenties the London-based presenter took cocaine, heroin and ecstasy and said it made her "the most manipulative, untrustworthy person" you could meet.
Rather than slipping back to being a "nightmare" she shuns the hard stuff even though it clearly pains her.
"In the summer, I'm like, 'Please, please I'm desperate for a chilled rose'. And my husband is really into wine and the whole ceremony with the decanting of it. But I just know I can't do it," she lamented in
Heat magazine.
