The housemates have been set their first weekly task - powering a pedalo non-stop for 72 hours. The conditions are that there must be two people in the pedalo at all times, and that they must pedal continuously at a speed of at least 60 revolutions per minute, otherwise they will fail and lose 50% of their shopping budget, which is based on £1.50 per person per day.

The result will be anounced on Wednesday.
