Nadia Almada, winner of BB5, adorns the front cover of the News of the World today, and in a lengthy interview, reveals that she used to work as a prostitute to help pay for her breast enlargement operation.
She said:
"I started working as a prostitute through desperation. The only way I felt I could raise the money to get the breasts I craved was to sell my body to complete strangers."
Nadia reveals that although she was able to earn a lot of money during the year she worked as a prostitute, it was the darkest time of her life, and at one point, was suicidal.
Raised as a Catholic, she also said that:
"I was too ashamed to go to church and began to hate myself for what I was doing. I felt disgusted and empty and the shame was eating away inside of me."
She eventually turned her back on prostitution, and took up a job working as a clerk at Barclays bank in her hometown of Woking, Surrey.
Throughout Big Brother, Nadia revealed that she always feared her past being leaked to the newspapers, and she could therefore never relax in the house.
Nadia had the following message for her fans: "I want to apologise to all the fans who voted for me. I feel I have let them down. I hope they forgive me and give me a second chance."
