I was going to do a poll but it's impossible to have just one definition as to why anybody watches the show. I'll list the possibilites I thought of but I'm sure you'll think of more.

a) To watch the general interaction of a group of strangers in a captive enviroment.
b) In the hope of seeing romance develope.
c) Sex - In the hope a couple or couples will get it together.
d) Drunken behaviour.
e) Conflict.
f) Drawn to watch by characters in the show.
g) Drawn to watch as contestants change during the course of the show.
h) To see what Big Brother does next to make the contestants quirm next.
I) Tasks.
J) Evictions.
k) Fights and arguements.


My choises would be
A,B,F,G,H and sometimes I.

You've missed out on saying hoping the nice characters will win over the crappy ones!!

Black hat, white hat thing, good vs evil, the eternal struggles, which controls most drama, the difference with BB, that it depends on perspective whos wearing those hats

A - to see interaction between people, and
F - drawn by the characters in the show.

Romance is nice, but to be honest, even a watching what appears to be a 'genuine' romance, as opposed to pure lust, makes me a bit uncomfortable. I start worrying that things won't go so well, or that others will feel left out! 'The Salon' was fine for me - you got to see new people each day, and you got to see how the staff got on together, but you weren't watching them 24/7.

Romance like that of Paul and Helen is ok but when you get a relationship initially based on lust and where one party is obviously dominating over the other (BB5 Michelle and Stu) does not make comfortable viewing.

A, F, G & J for me I think.

Principally A. I find it fascinating to see how people act, react and interact.

I think all apart from C.

A, F, G, I and J. I espcially like to see how the characters develop and change during the show, and as a result how your initial perceptions of them alter.
