The weekly task, taking place tonight, will decide whether the house will continue to be divided in two, or whether the remaining 7 housemates will be reunited again.
Each housemate will be asked a question, testing their observation and memory skills. They will each be questioned about other housemates. If they answer correctly, they will live on the rich side, and an incorrect answer will mean a week living in "poverty". If all 7 housemates answer their question correctly, the bars will be removed. Series producer Phil Edgar-Jones is quoted in today's Sun that they had to listened to viewers, after a Sun poll revealed that 97% of readers were against the idea of the divide.
There is also another twist to the task. Should any of the housemates find themselves on the poor side, Big Brother will then offer the group a "Killer Question". A housemate on the rich side will then decide whether they are willing to risk answering the question. If they get it right, the bars will come down. If they get it wrong, they too will be forced to live on the poor side of the house.
The shopping budget for the rich side will remain at £400, regardless of how many housemates are living there.
The task will be shown live on channel 4 at 10pm tonight.
