Sunday 19th June
This afternoon saw the start of this week's weekly task, which will determine the amount of food the housemates receive next week.
Rather than all housemates taking part, this week's task will only be directly undertaken by Maxwell, unbeknown to him.
The Big Brother house this week resembles a workhouse, with housemates provided with uniforms, and clocking in cards. Each housemate chose a number between 1 and 10, with Vanessa originally choosing number one.
At this stage, the housemates were unaware that only worker number 1 would have to complete tasks each day of the week in room 101 - in today's case - separating maggots according to their colour.
Upon hearing the details of the gruesome task, Vanessa refused to enter room 101, and Maxwell took her place.
As he got to work on his 2 hour long shift, the other housemates were then told of the "real task". If they managed to convince Maxwell that they too have been working hard in individual rooms, then they will pass.
The only way they will fail this weeks task is if Maxwell realises that whilst he is grafting away in room 101, the other 9 housemates are enjoying a series of treats provided by Big Brother.
Today's cover up seemed to go well, with the other 9 housemates convincingly fending off Maxwell's questions about how they dealt with the task.
