ENDEMOL, the Dutch production company behind the Big Brother reality television show, has secured a deal to sell its mobile games unit Overloaded to Oslo-based Mobile Media.
However, the Hilversum-based company did not say how much it received for the unit in the sale to the TV and entertainment provider. Overloaded, which has annual turnover of less than £700,000, turns Endemol's TV content into games specifically made for mobile platforms.
Endemol, which has been trading publicly since November after its owner, Spain's Telefonica, sold 22.3 per cent of its shares to the public, has not given any financial forecast.
