Jade thinks she has gone ginger after dyeing her hair.
Kate spent 45 minutes helping her to dye her roots to make them blonde again.
Jade said she was gutted by the result of the dye she specially bought as part of the housemates' weekly shopping.
Tim, who has been the subject of speculation as to whether his own hair is ginger, tried to reassure her.
"You look sort of like a blonde fox," he said.
Kate teased Jade by comparing her to Geri Halliwell and singing a Spice Girls song.
But Jade said: "Not funny."
Her verdict was that she looked like a "fat ginger minger."
But Kate said: "She doesn't look ginger, she looks strawberry blonde."
