AMSTERDAM, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Television production company Endemol, which is behind such worldwide TV hits as "Big Brother" and "Fear Factor", raised its forecast for 2006 turnover growth on Thursday.
"The overall financial outlook for 2006 remains good. Turnover is expected to grow organically by more than 15 percent," Endemol said in a statement. It had earlier forecast growth of 11 to 13 percent.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation
(EBITDA) as a percentage of turnover was expected to remain within the earlier indicated 15 to 17 percent range, Endemol said.
Netherlands-based Endemol has been trading publicly since November 2005 after its owner, Spain's Telefonica , sold 22.3 percent of its shares to the public.
