Gerry is finding the lack of any intellectual conversation or someone to flirt with is making each day in the BB house more and more depressing.
He was sitting on the sofa with Charley and asked her: "Have you ever heard of Stonehenge - the circle of stones?" she said: "Er, no,"
Gerry told her Stonehenge is one of the most famous things in Britain.
"What's that, 17 centuries ago or what?" asked Charley.
Gerry explained - "Stonehenge was built by the Celts who lived on this island before the Romans,Then came the Romans and after the Romans came the Saxons."
Charley replied: "And then came the Greeks?"
Gerry told her the Greeks never came to Britian. "I seem to know more about your country's history than you do and I'm a foreigner."
He then went on to tell Charley one day he will explain about Darwin and the theory of evolution to her.
