Just when you thought Big Brother couldn't possibly get any more annoying, Channel 4 announce that they are launching a Hi-Def version of their regular channel - available to Sky HD customers.
Channel 4 HD becomes the 12th channel in the high-def spectrum to be bounced via a satellite into your living room. Joining the count-the- grass-leaves Sky Sports, the 'wow, DeNiro is looking old' Sky Movies, and 'oh my god, I want to be a ninja like Hiro' Sky One, Channel 4's offering to HD slots neatly into the line-up.
Sounds brilliant - and the best news of all? You don't even need a viewing card - if you've got a Sky HD box, it's part of the package.
The only downside is that we're just not sure we want the likes of Jade Goody and Noel Edmunds in Hi-Def...
