LITTLE BIG BRO? IT’S LIVE TV CHILD ABUSESHRINKS last night accused telly chiefs of abuse over a Big Brother-style show starring primary school children.
Child psychologists called for social services to probe whether the 20 youngsters taking part in the “TV experiment” had been exploited.
They claimed the children, aged eight to 12, were exposed to bullying and violence in Tuesday’s Boys And Girls Alone.
The opening show – about 10 boys and 10 girls being left to fend for themselves for two weeks – showed scenes of sobbing youngsters begging to be allowed to go home.
Child care professionals expressed horror at Channel 4’s decision to screen the four-part series filmed in Cornwall.
